Boudoir photography is a very rewarding experience for empowering the body, mind, and soul. Every woman is amazing, caring, giving and incredible. With all that, it is easy to forget to make time to appreciate yourself! If you've been a little amiss with your own image and self, I can provide an experience that can get you back to loving how you see yourself. Through a boudoir session, you will find that it's so much more than just taking sexy and sensual photos. It is finding out how brave you are to take a chance to see yourself as you are!

Through my time as a photographer, I have captured the beauty of women from all walks of life and all ages. It doesn't matter your body type, shape, or size. Maybe you're looking to gift your special someone a delightful photo album, or maybe you're just looking for that confidence boost to give you an edge in your life. Even if you've never been in front of a camera, I will guide you and direct you through posing, and will cheer you on through the entire way! Take the risk. See yourself in a different light. We often fear our own greatness, don't let that fear evade you from yours!

Do I have to wear Lingerie?
Although the first image that comes to mind when we think "boudoir" is a woman in lingerie, it is by no means a requirement or necessity! Boudoir photography is all about seizing an intimate moment within an image. Keyword: intimacy. That is not defined through what you wear! If you long for a boudoir photo session, but just don't feel comfortable wearing lingerie, there are so many alternatives that will have you looking just as sensual and sexy in your intimacy. An off shoulder sweater or a button up shirt can do the trick. I do wardrobe planning before your shoot so we can talk through your options and you can feel as comfortable as possible. On the flip side, you can also showcase as much of your body as you desire. This is all about you and what it takes to get you loving yourself even more!
What about my privacy?
A concern I often hear from women teetering on the decision of doing a boudoir shoot is whether their photos will end up all over the internet, my website, or my social media accounts.
Contractually, you will have COMPLETE control over how your images will be used.
Your privacy is very important to me.
The images on my website are from models or clients who have given me written permission to post their images. If you want to give me permission, nothing makes me happier than showcasing my work and my client's beauty for other women to see what a shoot could look like for them! If you decide you don't want your images shared, that is completely fine too!

"Before deciding on Angel, I obsessively researched every boudoir photographer in the Triad, ultimately compiling a spreadsheet of photographers from NC, SC, VA, and even eastern TN. Stumbling upon Angel’s website, his work immediately stood out as top-tier. Not only did his background in portrait photography give him certain technical expertise that many of the others did not, but I appreciated how he uses light and posing to draw out the best images of each model rather than heavy photoshopping, resulting in effortlessly beautiful but natural-looking images. I honestly hadn’t imagined working with a male boudoir photographer, but, it felt silly to reject him based only on gender when his photos were by far my favorite. Plus, he was located nearby and his prices were incredibly reasonable given the quality of the work. So, I decided to reach out.
From the very first email, Angel was nothing but professional. He replied right away, and we set up a time to chat later that week. During our call, we got to know each other a bit before diving into the details of the shoot. We discussed why I was interested in boudoir, what outfits I was considering, if I wanted my hair and makeup done, and where I would like the shoot to take place. I wasn’t sure about the location (my bedroom isn’t particularly photogenic), so the next day, Angel followed up with a customized list of hotel suggestions complete with photos and prices. Ultimately, it was this level of communication, organization, and attention to detail that sealed the deal for me. So we decided on a date, I paid his session fee online, and I booked my favorite hotel. Angel patiently answered all of my questions as I thought of them, and was completely understanding of my privacy concerns.
On the day of the shoot, I met Angel and his wife, Ingrid, (who had arrived just before me) at the hotel. By the time we had settled into the room, his makeup artist had also arrived. As she worked on my hair and makeup, I was offered some champagne and chocolate, and Angel gave me a brief overview of what to expect and shared some posing tips. Once the makeup artist had left (her work was excellent!), we began the shoot, starting with some photos fully clothed to get comfortable, before transitioning into lingerie and working up to the steamier shots. I appreciated how Angel provided gentle posing guidance, explained what he was doing so I wouldn't be surprised, and asked for permission any time something might be out of my comfort zone. Ingrid was present the entire time, helping with lighting and little things like hiding the tags in my lingerie or straightening a seam in my stocking. Both Angel and Ingrid were so fun to talk to and made me feel completely comfortable, even while in the middle of the silliest looking poses (which ended up looking great in the final photos — he clearly saw something I couldn’t).
All in all, I could not have asked for a better boudoir experience. The experience and the final photos were even better than I had imagined. I would absolutely recommend Angel to anyone considering a professional boudoir session. And if you have any hesitations about working with a male photographer, give him a call; his professionalism and personality will quickly put you at ease."
